There should be a limit on how many children women on welfare have, that's for DAMN sure. I am so sick of paying for women to have kids just to stay supported by the government so they don't have to work. In some cases, temporary support is one thing, but my old neighbor has 5 kids by 4 different men and she admits to doing it so she doesn't have to work. The population is out of control and I think families that have more then 3 kids should stop. Not to mention that most of them are being raised to be drains on society. Oofdah...what a sore subject.

There should not be a limit because it is purely subjective. more money does not translate to more time or quality for the off springs. Rather than limits, the society should set and enforce responsibilities of parents towards children. You are then free to have as many as you can responsibly parent.

If they can be supported by the IMMEDIATE FAMILY (mom, dad, other siblings, maybe grandparents), then I don't think a limit is really needed.

What gets me is people who build up a herd of children and need sponsorship, volunteer task forces or.... something like that, you've probably seen documentaries about it. At that point they need to give some away to a good home, haha.

The number of children a family should have is determined by how much emotional spiritual and material support parents can provide.

Most of the people who have kids are those not fit to take care of them.. I'd say zero to start, then maybe a few born by accident well that's ok... Who actually purposefully wants kids? What morons..

That will never be a law in the US. It depends on the family's situation. I don't think we should have to support someone with children who can't support themselves and continue to have children. I also don't think we should have to keep people within their 'standard of living' because they are used to living a certain livestyle and con no longer sustain it. Black or White. But what can you do? ? ?

Yes.

I think that everyone should only have one child, that way maybe kids could get some attention and not have so many turn into idiots with no skills or knowledge when they grow up.

No limit in a user pay system, otherwise the Chinese model is worth looking at, one child. Especially for some races that just dont know when enough is enough

Hell no. This is supposed to be AMERICA and it's all about the freedom here. If people want 50 kids, let them have 50 kids. As long as they can feed them, clothe them and take care of them.
