.They have that covered also, because Libby was only given a commuted sentence, he still has all his appeals, so when he is called in the civil case, he can take the fifth and doesn't have to testify because his case in still under appeal. That's why Bush says that a pardon is still on the table. So when the civil case is settled and Bush is waving good-by from the helicopter all bases included the pardon are covered

don't bet on it. Bush overturned/dismissed a lawsuit that the Americans from the 1979 hostage crisis won against Iran. Granted they would have never collected, but it was a long awaited victory

Yeah, it will be comforting. By the way, which of her three stories will she use in the trial?
And I have another question, where was Valerie Plume the night of Duke Lacrosse Case fiasco?

I'm glad she has the right to do that. It will be interesting to see what the result it. It is comforting, as limits to the powers of our branches are always comforting.
At the same time, if she loses, I would expect it would be gracefully forgotten, by both sides.

I really wouldn"t place ANY bets on THAT one........Libby is "first"(HaHa)... to forego the PRISON term.....now....lets "get him 'off'with a FULL pardon.....(give it a week or two first),that way,the American people will be allowed to acccept the fact they "too" need to comply to the "norm"

Plame is no different than Libby. They both lied under oath. Why isn't she on trial?
