im a student in High School. would my high school have something with my SS# on it?

You DO have a social security number if you were born say after 1978. Its automatic at the hospital or when you were first issued a birth certificate. You can get a print out of it from the ss office to use for a job or something like that but you will have to wait for the card to be reissued if it has been lost etc...and most places want to make a copy of it for their records.

Get another SS card. It is not that hard. You just need a birth certificate and get to the social security office.

Have you applied for a Social Security card? If not, you don't have a Social Security number. If you did receive a Social Security card, the school would probably have some indication of that on your records.

depends on your age , if you have a job for example that is on the books then yes you have a SS# if you don't then you are non existent , just not in a physical sense .

If you were born in the USA & go to school in the USA then your school has your SS# on file.
