If you are African American, I understand your question. This is not a racial issue, but there are a great deal of African Americans that do not celebrate this holiday because when the Declaration Of Independence was signed it did not have slaves in mind. Sorry if I offended anyone. God Bless.

Did someone skip 7th and 8th grade American history? What about elementary school? Has our education system failed us to such an extent that someone doesn't know WHY we celebrate the 4th of July????????
