Please take this question seriously. I want to know if anyone else thinks it should be called "foon".

because going from handle to end it starts as a spoon and ends in a fork, hence the spork.

I made that up but still it makes sense, in reality I guess because spork sounds better than foon.

Spork is more fun to say than foon. And it's easier for the cashier to say "spork for your food?" instead of "foon for your food?"

I don't why it's called "spork," but the name, in my mind, has a more serious connotation than "foon." So, let's keep "spork."

hahaha, i never thought of it that way, but it could work, yes. Maybe they thought of foon and spork and figured spork sounded better?

spork sounds like a more serious name than foon, foon sounds like bafoon lol!!!!

they call it a spork because it has sharp pointy ends (thats the fork part), then it has a bowl type figure for the spoon part. Put them both together and what do you get A Spork

ppl probably don't call it a foon bc/ it sounds too much like
bufoon or fool.

I think foon sounds cool though, alot better better than spork.
I think from now on, I will call it a foon.
