I don't get it. I'm sure everyone has asked themselves this question.
Why do people not know how to spell when asking a questions here?
I get it in just about all other facets of life. But here? Your asking for intelligent people to help you... and yet. You can't understand them because they refuse to use the letter "A" in any word they use. I mean the spellcheck button is right there! It's easy to use too!!
Some of it could be lack of intelligence, but for most it seems it's just that they like to spell wrong. Why? What would posses you to try and look as stupid as possible to a large demographic? Your screenname is attached to this. For some of these people it's their lives, they have links to their blog (full of misspellings), Myspace, and other websites. So it's like your opening up your entire life to people you don't know so they can laugh at you (I know I have heh)!
Why would anyone do this? I understand you may never meet most of these people. But what if you did?

Just to clairify, I'm mainly talking about those people who spell wrong on purpose (as far as I can tell). Such as "Lke u rlly shud" or "I wub u so mch". Stuff that's not simple. Stuff.... that you really need to go out of your way to spell wrong. I've seen worse examples, but I just can't bring myself to actually write them.

I asked a simular question a while ago and everyone snapped at me as if it's old fashion to spell correctly. Some misspelled words is understandable but a whole sentence worth? cumon LOL

Spellcheck?...You would need a thinkcheck program...
Between you and I, grammar and punctuation have they’re challenges. There so hard to figure out, its a crime. You try to write something and get all it’s words right, and then you’re word processing program spellcheck tells you you’re grammar is wrong somewhere. Isn’t their help anywhere?
Don’t faint. I wrote the above paragraph deliberately to make mistakes in the usage of one popularly misused phrase and these three troublesome sets of easily confused words:
its (the possessive pronoun: The dog wagged its tail.)
and
it’s (the contraction for it is: It’s my turn.)
their (the possessive pronoun: The men paid their dues.)
there (the sometimes adjective, sometimes noun, sometimes pronoun: We went there.)
and
they’re (the contraction for they are: They’re here.)
your (the possessive pronoun: Don’t lose your shirt.)
and
you’re (the contraction for you are: You’re my favorite.)

Yes, computer speech and cutesy language have ruined the Internet. Also some people are too lazy to type out the actually words.

I must admit, I'm an awful speller. But I try to use spell check. Sometimes I don't notice till later but I try to edit my mistakes. Did you know when you ask a question the spell check only works on the first question part? It doesn't check the 2nd part.

I agree with you, I'm not quite sure why they don't hit the spell check button either. Maybe they're just in a hurry????

Yes.
Those who slept through English classes and never learned to spell is one thing.
Those who thinks it's cute, or that it makes them appear to be more intelligent are sadly mistaken. It really makes them appear to be ignorant.

I so know what you mean. I'm only fifteen years old, and it even drives me nuts when people type like they are three. Thats about all I have to say about this.
:p.

I was unaware that it was such a big deal. Most of the time, it is at least still understandable.
