I have a small lump under my left armpit, I am 14, and it has been there for approximately 9 months. There is a black (brown) dot near the top. Should I be worried?

Go and see a doctor, it may be nothing but it is better to get it checked.

It's most likely an ingrown hair.... or it could be a form of acne.... does it have a head... I've known people who have had red bumps under their armpits and they were ingrown hairs that probably what it is. This is caused alot of the times by not shaving enough or not consistently. Don't skip days!

It is always best to have these things checked out by a doctor. It could be harmless, like a cyst, or it could be something serious. Better safe than sorry.

If you already grew hair there....then it may be an ingrown hair.
Or it may be a sign of breast cancer. Yes it is possible for men to get breast cancer, but it is rare.
You should check with your doctor A.S.A.P

My guess is that it is a gland, but if you are concerned, go see a doctor - he/she will know in seconds if you should be worried about it.
