Of course 4 Christ but not for a baby. Just try 2 picture you with the name Messiah and see how u would feel. If u could picture yourself with that name go ahead and name your little bundle of joy Messiah!!!!!

Sounds great, but why not go for the name that means Messiah like God, or Yahweh.? Those may work. In the first book of the bible, Shiloh was know as a secret reference to the coming Messiah. So there you have it, Shiloh.

um, maybe it would be better as a middle name. You could still keep the Religious theme, though...

Jesus (hay-soos) Messiah
Joseph Messiah
David Messiah
Adam Messiah
Noah Messiah
Micah Messiah
Michael Messiah
Gabriel Messiah
Abraham Messiah
Isaac Messiah
Jacob Messiah

I would say no, only because when it's heard, "Messiah" usually is in reference to Jesus the Messiah, the son of God.

I wouldn't name a child that.
I think that the only way you can get away with naming a child after the Christ is if you named him "Jesus" using the Spanish pronunciation of the name (hay- soos).
No one would give you any static about that.

Well, it may offend Christians who proclaim Jesus as the Messiah, so I would reconsider on that one.

I think it's a good name, but I wouldn't use it. Too much behind it, I think. But, doesn't it mean baby anyways? but, maybe as a middle name, like,

Hayden Messiah (i like that one :D idk why)
James Messiah
Austin Messiah
Tyler Messiah
or something.

That is one heck of a name to try to live up to. Not something I would suggest to name your child.

I would'nt name my child after God.

But thats just my oppinion.

If you think your child could live with that for the rest of his life.. then go for it.

Just know a popular nickname would be Mess.

Yes, if you don't mind people saying 'Messy' for a nick name. Remember this child has to have that name for life.
