1. Fennel Tea – This is easily prepared by soaking 1 to 2 teaspoons of fennel seeds in about 8 ounces of boiling water. Most grocery stores and even some online herb/natural products sites sell fennel making it an easily accessible natural heartburn relief remedy. Fennel is also an important ingredient in most of the over the counter heartburn medicines.

2. Ginger Root – Available as widely as fennel seeds both online and locally. It too is used as an ingredient in a number of heartburn medicines.

3. Peppermint – A fantastic natural heartburn relief peppermint can easily be grown in your own garden. There are a number of ways in which you can use peppermint; you can of course added to your fennel tea, or better still, chew on a few of its leaves and stems. Or use peppermint oil, a regular ingredient in all over the counter heartburn medicines and a great cure for heartburn.

OR: Drink a small amount of nonfat or skim milk every one to two hours to wash acid back down into the stomach.

Chronic heartburn is usually from acid reflux - stomach acid is getting past the little valve and into your esophagus. You also should know some natural ways to treat your heartburn. Learn them here https://bitly.im/aMAZm

The most immediate thing you can do is to stop drinking coffee and cola. Smoking is not good either, but that might be harder to stop. Don't over-eat. Don't lie down too soon after eating. Don't burp too much - this carries acid up with the burp.

1 Tablespoon of apple cider vinegar and 1 teaspoon of honey in 6 oz of room temperature water. Put the honey in the bottom of the glass, add the vinegar and stir until dissolved. Add water and drink slowly. It will work as it turns the acid in your stomach to alkaline. If you have it frequently, you'll need to watch fats in your diet, they are hard to digest and cause acid. You can also get chlorophyll with mint to help with the same problem. You can keep an opened bottle in the fridge for over a year and it retains it's potency.

DO NOT drink any dairy products as they cause the stomach to produce large amounts of acid. You don't want that.

Hope you feel better soon, my friend!

2. Stay a small part of jaggery (gur) in your jaws and slowly suck it. Repeat it each hour till acidity subsides.
