I was 11.
"Now I lay me down to sleep

And at 12 I denied his existence.
Oh and I'm 24 now.

He and I had an in depth discussion just last evening. I thanked him for all the blessings he'd given my family and for watching over us. I then asked him for guidance in my every day life, and, of course, a million dollars. I am nothing if not predictable with God. He and I go way back, like at least four lifetimes ago.

Lastnight. I prayed for protection for family/friends, thanked him for everything, added a 4th of July special thing, some other personal things, and said I love you....pretty much the same as I do every night, or whenever else the need arises.

Today I knelt down and prayed to God for all our (USA) soldiers in the middle east to be safe. I prayed for their families and friends. I prayed for all the police,ems, and fire fighters that keep us safe. I prayed that no nation would attack us on our Birthday. And last of all, I prayed for everyone to learn how who to love and respect each other, the way it was meant to be.

Last Night, when I was giving Him praise for all that he has done in my life and for giving me my family, and thanking Him for everything, and for sending His son Jesus to die on the cross for our sins that we may have ever lasting life. I serve an Awesome God, Jesus is Lord!!!

Ugh, unfortunately I can't remember when the last time I talked to him. It pisses me off, because I know I can talk to him whenever I feel like it, but I never have time.
