what battle was it where the zulu (or a different african tribe) attacked settlers and the only survivor was a baby girl?

I don't know about the only survivor story but, this did happen in the 19th century by the British when they were conquering Africa.
The Zulu were controlled by a man that was like Hitler. He conned the people into believing he was a God and was given the duty to lead his people through tough and ruthless killing, even his own people that didn't go along with him.
At one time he controlled six million Zulus and was in control of the most powerful tribe in Africa, almost rowing out the British. The Zulu wars are famous through the British.
