the sun is approximately a "black body" at 5780 K. compare this with a metal rod from your fireplace, that's about 3000 K - since the sun is hotter its spectrum peaks more around the yellow wavelengths. the sun's power source is nuclear fusion in the core, and it's very stable. sometimes it appears red from the earth (at dawn and dusk) but that's due to interaction of sunlight with earth's atmosphere.

The chemicals that mix and burn to create the sun give off yellow/orange colors as they burn. Just like different elements burn with different colors (spectrum analysis) the gasses burn yellow on the sun.

Because of its temperature. Other stars can be orange, white blue,red and light blue.
By the way, yellow colour represent 5,500 centigrade or 9,900 farenheit

That is the color it burns. This is due to the temperature. We have other stars in the universe that that are blue, orange, and red.

I know its something,sometimes its bright white in color looking.Its really orange,and fire colored!
