i got e coli! I was sooooooooooooooooooo sick that i moaned and groaned and puked and had a high fever and i was rushed to the emergency room where the frickin' doctor told me "this isn't a walk-in v.d. clinic, you know!" when the blood test came back, they gave me a big old shot of penicillin in the butt, no joke. everything was horrible about that hospital visit. the nurse held up this gigantic shot and said, turn around and don't tighten your butt cheek muscles. they almost put me in the hospital and the freak of a doctor apologized. 20 years later i still remember that jerk. i don't know what i ate or where i got it. but that's as close as i got which was far worse i think. just don't go to the hospital emergency room in templeton, california cuz that jerk might still work there!

Yes. I had made some homemade beans and brought some to work for lunch. I forgot to put them in the fridge at work so they were not refrigerated all morning. I ate then anyhow, figuring they would be ok. By 2 pm that afternoon I was sicker than a dog. I was sick with a major headache, chills, sweats...it all lasted until about 11 pm that night. The next day I felt weak but was able to still go to work.

I've had food poisoning from a number of places, most notably Checkers and Taco Bell.

Yes! I had dinner at Chevy's (in Northern CA, but I don't think I should say where exactly), and I was so sick just a few hours later. Vomiting all night, ugh. I've not been able to eat at Chevy's since, and I don't think I ever will again.

Yes i've had it twice in the past 10 years. I got it from some steak fingers from a little unknown restuarant. It lasted about a week. i was dizzy, diarhea and vomitng as well as a fever. the next time i got it from chilli dog from a different unknown restuarant. i had a fever and nausea for 12 hours. wasnt too bad. i call them unknown because they are not chain restuarants. i live in a little town and they are family owned.

Yes, I had it previously.

I don't remember the food; I do remember the claw-like squeezing my stomach felt.

It really doesn't feel good.
