i really want my own personal computer so i dont have too share with everyone else anymore. if you know of a web site or store where there is a pretty good refurbished or knew laptop in the price range of 250 dollars i would really like to get one some time soon! THANKS FOR YOUR ANSWERS!!!

Craigslist.org man.. you wont go wrong with craigslsit. You can find a decent laptop for as low as $150. You can search from anywhere in usa, uk, sweden, etc.

You could find one on Ebay of course, but remember, you get what you pay for. You definitely won't get a new one for that price. I remember a couple of years ago I bought a laptop off of the internet for about $200 dollars it only lasted about three months. My advice to you is too just wait a little longer and buy a good one. I know it is very hard to wait, but it will be worth it later on.

Apart from websites, you may go to posting board of nearby universities. Students usually put up moving sales ad around this time or at end of the year. But do remember, you can only get what you pay for.

If you want you could look at getting netbook. They are small laptops that will run you about $200. Very portable, light, and they will work for things such as itunes, web browsing, typing documents, ect.

Sometimes you can get one from college students who have or are about to graduate. They may be upgrading or no longer need one. Check bulletin boards your local collage campus. This will also allow you to check the merchandise out before you buy.
EBay works, but you have no way to test the machine before hand.
