I think that's a big question. How I see it is that the outcome of the primaries (mostly the Rep.) will be a sure-deal on who the next president is.
I'm a huge Edwards fan, but nonetheless, I think it will come down to the last second between Clinton and Obama. Now for the Rep. race, here's the catch...
IF Guliani wins, I'm pretty sure Clinton won't get it. The non-political no-nothing voters will see Guliani and think 9/11. They will see Clinton and think Bill... not Bill as in one of the greatest presidents, but Bill as in the man who had an affair on his wife.
If Romney wins, it will most likely be a Dem pres, but it may be close. I grew up in a small Mormon town and I know all the ins-and-outs of that religion. However, the non-political, no-nothing voters do not, so they will get scared knowing that he is a Mormon.
That's my 2-cent prediction.

I suspect a dark horse candidate... I predict Mike Huckabee. He's at the top of the 2nd tier and gaining momentum.... all he needs is a bit more cash and he'll be a heavyweight (no pun intended on his 110 lb weight loss). Fred Thompson and Mitt Romney also have a good chance. McCain is running out of supporters who can put up with his crap and Giuliani will be done in by his social liberalism. Ron Paul is obnoxious to all but his 11 blog crazy internet supporters and other than that I think they will all drop out before the nomination.

Guliani is a Liar and a cheat. Infact he knew the towers were going to come down before they fell. How? And why werent the fire dept warned of this.
If the only guy that is speaking truths doesnt win it will clearly be fixed. There is only one man for our next president he is Ron Paul someone looking out for the constitution which means looking out for us. Research him. Watch his addresses to congress on cspan a shining star in a mess of crap. He needs fair air time and is not receiving it. Below you can see what he is all about since fox cnn abc cbs nbc wont.

Probably Fred Thompson once people find out how nutty Giuliani really is. Just have any New Yorker tell you about him. But regardless, the next president will be a democrat unless something huge happens. That means Hillary or Barack will be taking the oath in Jan. 09. That means the country will experience some radical and fundamental changes in the years to come.

Ron Paul
He's got the grassroots support and he appeals to Democrats. The GOP leadership may hate him, but they will soon realize that he is the only candidate who can beat Hillary because he's been anti-war since way before Iraq started and he opposes wars with Iran and Sudan (unlike everybody else). Ron Paul's also against the IRS and the Federal Reserve, which should make him a very strong candidate. Could you imagine Hillary Clinton having to argue for the IRS in a debate?

This is not who I WANT...but who I think will win...Guliani.
He's a Catholic and he'll take it. The pope will have his boy in the White House...mark my words.
Maybe McCain will be the VP...wouldn't that just be a kick in the pants...Mr.Immigration himself.
We need someone tough on immigration and pro-life...I hope we get such a person in the White House in 2008. But I doubt it will happen since the SPP is going tthrough by 2010.

Well it's a little too soon to call it since there has been a lot of realignment going on but I will go out on a limb and say Fred Thompson. He's an actor, has name recognition and the Republicans would love to bring back those good old Ronald Reagan days.

It would be great to have Ron Paul win - someone who defends the Constitution, promotes liberty, & advocates limited government!
