For the current season, Alex Rodriguez of the Yankees is the major league leader with 28 homers. The National League leader is Prince Fielder, one behind A-Rod at 27.
The only other players with at least 20 homers are Adam Dun (23), Ken Griffey Jr. (22) and Justin Morneau (20).

Well, if we look at soccer as being an international sport, and the Olympics to be an international sporting event, then we should apply these same principles to any sport played anywhere in the world.

the record for all-time home runs is set by hank aaron (755) but that record might be beaten this season by barry bonds, who now has 751 homers (total..not just from this season)
