is there a way for a man to (deliberately) loose all desire for sex? ideally to either permanently or just willingly never think about it. in more technical terms, how can a man make a vow of celibacy and not have to fight to maintain it? thank you

yes this is a strange question, yes i am referring to myself, and yes there is a reason lol, but thats my business :P

ps. its in the catagory by default, i couldnt think of a more appropriate topic to post this under.

pss. if your answer IS that you have to fight to maintain it, please explain how if you can.

Sexual desire in human beings is more a mind issue. In order to control it, the mind needs to be kept busy in matters that you genuinely consider more important..... control of mind is the best answer for control of any desire, including sexual desire.

In order to control the mind, you need to have unshakable discipline and longer term purposes that can keep it motivated and occupied on a sustained basis. Once a start is made and success achieved for sometime, it would then become the usual and habitual way of life and thereafter controlling the mind would become easier... the initial stage would be the toughest.

Avoid the thinking and conduct that lead to increase desires by replacing them with wholesome activity, and cultivate self-control. You can do some work, physical exercise, play a game or go for a walk. See that your clothing does not unnecessarily cause friction of the sexual organs. Before retiring, try to see that what you read or talk about has a calming effect rather than the opposite. Of course those suggestions are for single persons only. Married couples need to consult each other regarding their activities.

I bought Prolargent 5x5 Extreme pills two months ago and to be honest, I was not expecting good results but I am amazed. This pill increase size up to 1 inch as promised. I decided to continue it for next two months as well. The good thing about this pill is that it does not have any side effects. My sexual life has improved a lot and this has given me more confidence. I give it 5 stars. Oh, I forgot to mention, it also enhanced my stamina.

As a philosophy of the mind, a theory of desire definitely includes addressing the states of the mind which lead to the emergence of desires (including for sex).

Some rely on religion, while others turn to philosophy to address the desires that we create in our own thinking.

When you learn the process of thinking which leads to the emergence of desire, you will have the solution to the problem.

first of all, sex is a natural urge. it's part of our being animals. we're no different than the horny dolphins at sea and promiscuous monkeys in the forest. but if you believe there's more to you than meets the eye, that you are not just an animal but also something else, then you can shed this animal behavior and evolve into something more than human. you can call that an spiritual experience. as for me, i just know the theory but i'm not practising it coz sex is really fun. lol

I find understanding things/reasons makes it dissolve. For example: I gradualy understood that there are better things to drink than pop, and so I gradualy lost any liking to the taste of pop. So maybe try to truely understand (FEEL it, not just KNOW it) why it should be gotten rid of.

Yes...dedicate oneself to something other than self gratification. Find a purpose and a goal, then follow that path without a backward glance. Look beyond yourself to find what it is you seek.

castration was an ancient method but is not very common in our society.
One important step should be to cut out our media and entertainment influences, no tv, video games, country, Rock or rap etc...
