It's an as-yet-unnamed project from J.J. Abrams.
There have been at least 75 questions about that thing since yesterday.
There IS something on IMDB, but it's not very informative.

It is a parasite.
My son was jumping up and down that it lookoed cool, but from my experience, if a film has to rely on a mysterious marketing gimmick to create excitement for its film, it is probably because the film will not stand on its own merits. It is one of those that have a huge opening weekend, the end up as the discount movie theater within two weeks because after the people that shelled out $7-10 a ticket for opening weekend, have spread by word of mouth what a dud it is and not worth it and no one will pay that price anymore to see it.

All the camera tilting detracts from the film. I realize it is supposed to be from the viewpoint of some one there, but they could worked on controlling that some more while keeping the home video camera feel.
Doesn't look like something I'll pay money to see. Waitin' for it to come to TV.

It's top secret. No one knows. No one will know until the release date gets closer. Its not even on IMDB, so the studio must be keeping under wraps. But yes, it looks interesting.

well i must say i think this is either the new godzilla movie preview but that explosion in it made me think that it could also be that new resident evil movie that is coming out soon. But that also does not explain the flying car smacking into the building.
