I have a 5hp b&s go kart motor and I can pour gas in the carb and it will only run for a min and then it gos dead I have put a new diafram and plug in it and it still don,t run can anybody help me!!!!!!!!!!!

Go by the parts store and get a can of carburetor cleaner maybe 2 Clean the carb, real good and check the adjustment Its almost ready to run , Make sure the filter is OK and you have good gas , Another thing is to take the needle valve out where the adjustment is and spray cleaner in it real good replace needle and let set for about 5 min,, Use the carb, cleaner to start motor , If that fails let me know hope this helps.

You replaced the vacu-jet carb kit between the carb and gas tank and blew out the plastic tube and screen in the tank? Or does that engine have a separate tank and fuel line going to a carburetor. Try choking it with a rag under the air filter to suck thru what is stuck in the main jet pull the motor over ten or twenty times. unclogg the air filter and see if it pulles fuel on its own.

try a new carb or at least a different one. Sounds like you have a plugged up jet in the carb or an orafice is clogged. You could try cleaning out the entire carburator which you should have done when you replaced the diaphram. If it were me Id put a Techumseh 8 hp carb on it and hang on!!
