If they don't tell you about the food then why tell you about the Muslims? Seriously, I think the manifest should be public so you can read the names. But then terrorists are really smart so they wouldn't go by their real names...Betsy Ross could be a terrorist so...No i'm sorry I don't think it's necessary to breed hate or mistrust. My neigbor was muslim and they were cool, had a great dog named Bingo.

Your remark is prejudiced and stupid. I agree with the majority here that do not find Muslims threatening and generally nice people.

Why not warn the passengers if there are Irish on board as well? The IRA is responsible for quite a few explosions. Or why not warn passengers if there is the head of a drug cartel on board? A rival might use a SAM to blow up the plane. Why not warn passengers if there is a mobster headed to testify in a case on board? One errant bullet from a hitman or U.S. Marshalls can cause serious damage.

Instead, why not tell the passengers something relevant? Like the breathalyzer results of the flight crew before take-off?

When purchasing a plane ticket and boarding a plane one is not asked about religious affiliation, therefore, the airline would not know if there are any muslims on board.

One can suspect that a person seemingly of middle east discent by race or clothing is muslim, but not be able to rule out a person without either of these two likely attributes, nor, on the other hand, is every middle eastern person or a person clothed in garb similar to muslim actually muslim.

not every terrorist is middleastern, not every muslim is a terrorist, but every terrorist (at this time that I am aware of anyway) IS muslim.

Muslim is a beautiful religion, that, similar to certain types of Christianity, has its fanatical and hateful people who brainwash or are brainwashed to judge and hurt others.

SO, its not going to work, not that you were serious anyway.

No, there are good and bad Muslims, as there are good and bad in every religion. As long as everyone is searched, and if that means talking off or inspecting people's scarfs, women's total surround garments, yarmulke, overcoats, ponchos, etc then so be it. If you have nothing to hide then you won't mind being searched. We went through the Frankfurt Germany airport and everyone had to pass inspection, all the men in one row and all the women inspected by a woman, no one was excluded, you were wand-ed down and frisked, but you felt safe and not violated because everyone was inspected, not just a few people. And not just the few little old ladies who could not walk, it was everyone, young, old, black, white, every single person, and it did not take that much time. Years ago it was the Japanese suicide bombers, today the Muslims tomorrow who knows?

Gee, at least you've come to terms with being a bigot. My gosh you talk as if anyone who is of Islam is of a risk to you and all of us. I wonder what the name of the phobia is that covers the fear of Muslims.
Why not just tattoo a symbol on their foreheads or something like that so we can just spot them at a distance and run lest they just burst into flames all over us.
And maybe we could just shoot chips in them and track them via GPS. Then when we're driving down the street a service like o*-s**r or something like that could send us warning when we're about to drive near one just in case they're hurtling down the freeway in a car bomb.
Better yet even, let's just empty out New York and turn it a colony to hold em all. That's it. Put em all there and then we'd know where they are. I saw it in a movie, but I bet it would work.
Or even better still why don't we all stop being such phobic bigots and let people be themselves without slapping targets on their backs and singling them out just because them might be of a different religion than the rest of us.

What a ridiculous idea.

Do you know that 99 percent of Muslim people are just like you and I.

Like our criminal element here in the states, radical Muslims make up only a very small percentage of the religion.

You know, hitler made the jews wear a star of david to make them easily identifiable....Is that the kind of country you want to live in?

No, they should not. Not all muslims are bad and wants to blow you up. Everyone is entitled to be treated equally and that goes for every muslim who boards a plane.

No that's racist. Timothy McVeigh killed 168 people in a Federal building... should we alert minorites when white people enter federal buildings.??

A "special flight for Muslims only"?? How about one for the Jews? Christians? Mormons? Blacks? Hispanics? Orientals? Whites? How about just for me and my wife, huh, wait, maybe just me.

The Constitution I defended does not do that.

The TSA , stupid as they are, has some very good bomb sniffing equipment.

Let's continue to target suspects with court orders. Not fear.
