Supergroups to me are bands that were built up from star members of other groups. Travelling Wilburys certainly qualify under the definition, as do Blind Faith and Emerson Lake and Palmer. (Who were originally going to be called HELP...the H standing for Hendrix)...but the likes of Quo and Queen, although super groups, do not qualify for the name supergroup.
So now that we've cleared up the definition, on to the best of the best live genuine supergroup. Beyond any shadow of doubt the greatest supergroup live was the band they dubbed the 'teenybopper' super group Humble Pie. In Steve Marriot and Peter Frampton, they had the greatest front of any band of the day and they boogied harder than ZZ Top. Although they achieved little in the way of commercial vinyl sales, having only one top 10 hit with Natural Born Boogie, if you wanted a band to fill the Fillmore or Madison Square Gardens, Humble Pie were the band for the job. In the early seventies they had a bigger live following than the Stones. Sadly Steve Marriot, who was arguably the greatest white soul vocalist this country has ever produced is no longer with us, and the ex-Spooky Tooth bass player, Greg Ridley, also passed away a couple of years ago, but the memories of one of the greatest live bands of the twentieth century lives on.

I don't think I could choose one. I mean there have been so many over the years of rock from so many seperate subgenres. If I had to choose one, I think I would go with Temple of the Dog. You've got Jeff Ament and Stone Gossard of Mother Love Bone and Green River, Eddie Vedder from Pearl Jam,Chris Cornell and Matt Cameron from Soundgarden, plus Mike Mcready. It was a great combination at the height of grunge.
some of the other ones I love include:
Cream (they started the whole supergroup thing)
The Traveling Wilburys
The Highwaymen (Johnny Cash, Waylon Jennings, Willie Nelson, Kris Kristofferson)
Journey (Two from santana, the steve miller band, and the tubes)
The Plastic Ono Band
Wings
Oysterhead
Son of Sam
The Raconteurs

Audioslave

No doubt, PINK FLOYD ! The best ever. I was fortunate to see "The Wall" concert in Los Angles in 1980, in my opinion there will never be a show like that one. Wow? What a talented group. And they are from your country.
Best Regards.
