I know how you feel. But that doesnt help. I cant sleep at night eihter. You def dont want to work out before sleep. What I do is pray and I fall asleep. When your mind is consentrated and you pray and pray and focus on that I always fall asleep aslo you should try some tylenol pm. Its not addivtive. Good luck sweetie and i hope you can fall asleep.

Milk has some tryptophan - an amino acid that has a sedative - like effect - and calcium, which helps the brain use tryptophan.
Plus there's the psychological throw-back to infancy, when a warm bottle meant "relax, everything's fine."

Yes. A little bit of turkey can help too. Alcohol can make you feel sleepy but it can often make you fitful and wake back up again. You'll have a harder time staying asleep and it's also a lousy habit to get into.
My dh and I drink a pot of Sleepytime Tea before we go to bed at night. You can get it in the grocery store.
Sweet dreams!

It never worked for me, but some folks claim that warm milk and eating a banana will put you to sleep quickly.

try benadryl liquid. I just noticed that someone else recommended nyquil, which has chlorpheniramine (antihistamine). Nyquil also has pseudoephedrine and acetaminophen and doxylamine (YOU DON"T NEED ALL THE EXTRAS). You only need over the counter antihistamine, it will make you drowsy and help you fall asleep. I would see your doctor if this is a problem. Are you experiencing other issues? Depression, stress???? what makes you stay up?
Once again, someone is recommending Tylenol PM. ( has tylenol and benadryl). You don't need tylenol you are not in pain you only need benadryl

I have heard too but it depends on person some fell sleep sooner some do not.
Once my teacher had taught when we want to sleep, count sheep and one teacher taught us to count from 100 to 1 and whenever I do this in the morning I do not recall at which count I fell a sleep.
I love second method than drinking milk.
Hope this will help you.
