I used to take medicine reperidal on a regular basis and it took away my period for a year then I started taking a new medicene called abilfy and I took that from 2003 till the present on a daily basis...
As of late I have been working hard to lose weight but have only gained weight..right now I weigh 242 and I'm 5'3''. I understand that my weight shouldn't exceed 150 at my height.
Nevertheless, someday I wish to have kids and I got some blood work done and it showed that my estrogen was really low and my testosterone was to high...I'm scared will I be able to have kids...I have another doctors appointment next week to discuss discontinuing the medicine. Oh and it is alright for me to regulate my period with birth control pills and would it be smart for me to take prenatal pills? I am 21 year old female...

Many times when medications are created it's by accident.
Birth control was originally created by a Catholic priest who was trying to create a new fertility medication. This is why many times woman get pregnant immediately after they stop taking the pill.
It seems to me that you are on quite a few different medications which have the hormones in your body doing a topsy turvy act. You are young yet. If you go off of some of the meds your levels will probably go back to normal. I wouldn't advise taking more pills and shots on top of what you are already taking unless recommended by your doctor and you are trying to get pregnant at this exact moment in time.
And many people with irregular periods have no problems conceiving children. With the individuals that I know with this issue, the only problem is the normal tell-tale sign of knowing that you are pregnant becomes a bit more difficult to realize without a doctor's help.

Once you begin at the testosterone, your intervals will stop. This would possibly occur progressively however it's going to occur. For Trans guys, testosterone does no longer make you completely infertile as coming off will enable the intervals to renew. Some contributors have grow to be pregnant by means of preventing testosterone for a interval of time. This is even after they've had 'most sensible' surgical procedure. However, after getting had your ovaries eliminated, there's no going again. I could urge you to don't forget: a) if that is real what you wish to do b) getting your eggs frozen c) becoming a member of a aid organization There are any online agencies which might be a nontoxic haven to speak about this in additional element. The higher ones generally tend o be for targeted places of the arena. PM me when you could like extra information. I will must realize which nation you reside in.

Talk specifically with your doctor on your questions and concerns, especially on your desire to get off the medication and your concerns about having children in the future.
You have an idea on how to get to your goal of weight loss, but you need direction....the type of direction that will make for a permanent lifestyle change. Perhaps the doctor can recommend a dietician you can talk with, since you need to approach this sensibly and with achievable short term goals to get to the major goal of weight loss amd lifestyle change.
By receiving the proper information and candidly discussing issues with your doctor and getting proper direction to sensible steps to changing your lifestyle, you will be on the road to the wealth of great health.

As both of these drugs are used to treat mental illnesses, Resperidol for schizophrenia and Amblify for Bipolar Disorder, I implore you, I beg you to really, really look at and do some research on whether it is fair for you to be looking at birthing children. I am the oldest and firstborn daughter of a mother who had 5 children in 6 1/2 years and is to this day bipolar, which she and my father deny or let us say, do not fully accept. She attempted to kill us multiple times in our childhood, usually by driving her car into an oncoming vehicle. She ripped the hair out of our heads, broke yardsticks, hairbrushes and wooden spoons all over our bodies and legs and backs and buttocks. She pinched, slapped, hit, punched and shamed us on an almost daily basis. She used to scream at us all day, every single day when she could not cope, which was for most of my childhood. I am still recovering from the effects of that upbringing. I will say that when she was not insane, manic, upset, depressed, suicidal, overwhelmed, foaming at the mouth, rabid, or out of control, she was and is a great mom, and it is my saving grace that she was not out of control for my entire life, but the scars have been overwhelming and immense and lasting. You need to ask yourself if you really think you have the right to do this to another, innocent, tiny little human being who is completely vulnerable and completely dependent upon you. You have a 1:4 chance of giving birth to a child who is either bipolar like its mother or who will suffer from crippling unipolar depression, like I appear to have had at many times in my life. This is the genetic roll of the dice. You yourself have an 8-9 times greater chance of killing yourself and succeeding than a person who does not suffer from BPD or schizophrenia. I know what my choice would be, and I know what I think yours should be.

I think first you should work on losing the weight .....it might even help change your hormone levels...... especially as you discontinue the use of your medicines..... but your doctor..... should be able to tell you more.....
