Yes, I did it a few times in my life and I'm glad I did because 22 years ago i engraved my name by a popular spot in South Dakota where I'm from, I went back there and it's still there. Almost like being a celebrity and having a star in the walk of fame in Hollywood.

The first time I visited my sister in her new house, they were building a house next door and they had just laid the foundation before they left for the night. I went over and put my name in it, but I imagine it was in a place that would never have shown.

Yes! The city was repaving the the sidewalks and i was invited to write my name and press my hands into the cement.

Yes. My grandpa makes a step at every family Reunion and everyone makes their hand print and writes their name under it.
