There is to my knowlege no imperical evidence to support such an idea. However, the human mind is capable of many things we are only just beggining to understand and likely many things we have no idea about.

For my opinion though, I would say do not count on wishing for something. If it is not immoral (the person you want is married or something) then take action. Introduce yourself. Talk to the person. find a way to let them know how you feel.

Well, yes & no...

Ok if you visualize something intensely, if you have an idea in mind of the ideal person you'd like to meet & you think of them in every detail & you will them to come to you & you think positively, then a person like that may appear in your life.

If however, there is someone you have already met who is unattainable (either married or not interested in you etc) then I don't think there's any way to get that person. You may think you want them, but it just isn't meant to be. Be open to the possibility of meeting someone similar to that but better for you.

We don't always know what's best for us. Wishing for something that will never be is counter-productive. You are better to just love yourself, think positively & be open to the possibility of meeting someone wonderful. But don't look for them. Just be out there. Go after your dreams. Get involved in hobbies & interests. Enjoy your life & love yourself & then maybe before you know it, the perfect person will just show up.

If you try to chase a butterfly you may never catch it. But if you stand calmly & patiently in a beautiful place, a butterfly just may come & sit on your shoulder. So it is with love.

Be patient. Be positive. Be open. Believe. Love yourself first of all -- then you will be ready to love someone else & have them love you.
