I was flipping through channels and came across a documentary on hot dogs on PBS, and it made me hungry. So where's the best hot dog you've ever had. I've been to Pink's in L.A., as well as Gray's Papaya in NYC, and of course, Nathan's (the original in Coney Island, and elsewhere)...

There are so many great places to get a hotdog, but the best place to go in my opinion is Kauffman Stadium in Kansas City. For some reason, hotdogs always taste better at a baseball game.
A couple weeks ago, the stadium workers were throwing hotdogs to the fans. One was coming my way and i jumped and caught it, only to find later that when I caught the hotdog, the actual hotdog itself had fallen out as soon as I had caught it, leaving only the bun. It was a little embarassing, but I soon got over it.
I hope to catch another free hotdog in the future, without dismantling the delicious treat. LOL
What's better than a free hotdog at a baseball game?
That's pretty cool that you've been to Coney Island. I recently watched the hotdog eating competition on TV. USA!

Saw the same program and have eaten at all the ones mentioned in that show, perhaps I prefer pinks due to its close to my home, or just has a great california hotdog, the one in georgia is nice the one in chicago though messy to eat is outstanding too, the hawaiian islands dogs rock< i even ordered their mango relish as well as a few other ones umm yummmmmmm... nathan werkmans hotdogs are big sellers everywhere not just ny... and they are great! I always eat kosher and wow they got do have the ticket on that.
PInks Hand makes their dogs onsite ummm yummmmmmmmm... I prefer pinks to the others overall though each was an interesting experience... chicago and la have the best dogs overall i think... well for my taste buds!

In my area, the best hot dogs are at Speedway gasoline and convenience stores.
I took a trip once to Cincinnati, Ohio to try the original Sky Line Chili and their hot dogs. It was a fun trip, but I wasn't overly impressed with Sky Line.

I like Costco's hotdog. I don't eat it very often so I am not exposed to hot dog places. But for 1.50 you get and hot dog and a medium drink it is a pretty good deal!

Chicago and it's got to be a Vienna hot dog. The best places WILL NOT PUT KETCHUP on their dogs-- if they do then you are in the wrong place
