Sure. I wouldn't want someone just passing me by if i was hurt in an accident...like say...Kansas people,where that lady was shot in a convenience store and people were stepping over her to get their items and go about they're day.

All depends on how many people are already on scene? If there is a hord of people I don't if there is no one I would stop. I am a trained EMT-A so it is in my blood to want to help people, but remember that too many people can be a problem for when EMS shows up because then they have to do crowd control as well as try to help the injured person/people.

I'll stop if no one else has stopped already.
One accident happened right in front of me, there was no way I couldn't stop to help the girl. I stayed with her until the ambulance came and called her dad.

Doesn't everyone? The problem is, most just come to watch the blood and just get in the way, take money or valuables from the injured, or worse, give bad care thinking they are helping.

depends on the good smaritan laws in your state, If some thing goes wrong they can sue for millions

one needs to stop and render aid if able to...if not...help to control the scene or contact emergency personnel and police.
