How can the woman be pregnant if she has no uterus? Does she have ovaries? If she has ovaries and no uterus, she may have a tubal pregancy, but the baby would not be able to mature to full term. Yes, it is possible to get pregnant if you only have sex one time. Yes, a beer-drinking 64 year old could possibly impregnate a woman.

alright every body else answer the no uterus rule. Now about the other stuff. That is if there was an uterus but all the other stuff did apply like age and what not.

Can you get pregnant from only having sex 1 time. Yes. Is not about the number of times is about whether the egg is there for the sperm ... err take over or whatever the medical term is. All that it takes is for the sperm to get to the egg in the uterus. You don't even need penetration. So, yes you can be a virgin and still get pregnant. Rare but it does happens.

The man is 64 years old drinks and what not. Well, the likelihood are less but it is still possible.

Now the woman being 45 thats when it gets difficult. Women only produce so many eggs in their lifetime. The prime time for pregnancy is 15 through 25 years old. Note that I'm not talking about moral issues or the law. I'm talking about phisiology. A woman at 15 can have a baby. Should she have one? Not in this time period. You see back in the days people did not live that long. If you made it to 50 then you where considered very old. So, people have children early. They also had many children with the idea that some of them might actually make it to adult hood. Yes, the deadth of a child was not uncommon. Now a days things are different and it is not uncommon for someone to make it to 82. The economy have change so now we have smaller families at a later ages mostly for economical reasons. So, a good age to have kids is about 25 but not passed 32. Once you hit 35 things start going down hill fast. Many women are now finding out that waiting to conceive at that late age is very difficult. Many times requiring some sort of artificial insemination which is both expensive and not guaranteed. When a woman reaches 40 her chances of having a baby not only greatly reduces but also the chances of that baby developing some problems like down symdrome greatly increases. To the point it is almost guaranteed.

So, to put it this way a man of 64 living a bad life with a women of 46 (lucky guy eh!!) can have a baby (if the uterus is there) but it is very difficult and hightly unlikely. Yet it is still possible.

I seem to recall hearing something in the dim and distant past about a woman without a uterus being pregnant, but even if it was true, it would be an incredibly rare occurrence. Like maybe just that once, if the story happens to be true, which seems biologically impossible.

Seriously? You're kidding right? You're not? Aw, geez... This is going to be a tough one.
No! Idiot. She has NO UTERUS.

***Ectopic pregnancies (where the zygote implants into the fallopian tube) can only happen AFTER sperm swim up through the UTERUS to meet the ovum in the fallopian tube. No uterus, hence no sperm meeting egg, hence no ectopic pregnancy.

He could be healthy enough but if the woman had a total hysterectomy then it's not posible - there is no place for the baby to grow without a uterus.

No uterus means there is no place for a zygote to implant itself and grow into a fetus. There is no way such a woman can become pregnant, irregardless of the health of her partner.
