Consider interlocking the two rings to create a pendant. The larger wedding band can be the base & the engagement ring can be soldered on it at the half way point so they form a heart or interlocking circle shape.

The other idea is to have the engagement ring in the middle of the wedding band & using small wires soldered behind them to create a pendant.

Don't rush. Consult a few jewelers & see what feels right to you.

In the meantime, you can use a silk cord to wrap the 2 rings together & wear them. Put one inside the other. Double the silk cord & wrap it around the rings & pull one end through the loop of the silk cord. Tie the silk cord well or attach a clasp to make a necklace.

I'm sorry about your hubby :(

Do you have a jewelry store in your area that makes jewelry? Look in your phone book. If you do, go and see the jeweler and ask if he has any ideas. He may be able to make a pendant or if you don't mind, melt the gold down from the rings and make some sort of a special pendant and put the diamond from your engagement ring into it. A good jeweler will be able to help you out and give you ideas.

Sorry to hear of your loss...

Josie and Treadstone have the best suggestions - visit local jewellers or goldsmiths, and work together on a design that incorporates the rings. A pendant, or even another ring you could wear every day may be possible. Go to art fairs in your area, and see what the jewellers have to offer. You may see a design you like, which they could make with your rings.

This is a lovely way to remember your husband.

My friend took her husbands wedding band and had it bent into a heart, then they took the diamond from her engagement ring and hung it in the center. It turned out so nice.

use the gold from both bands...and make a religious cross, mount the diamond (if any) in the middle of the cross

Sincere condolences on the passing of your husband.

I'm sorry about your husband.
You could always loop them through a few different chains, linking the ends as a necklace.

hope it helps

I would use a white gold chain and put in beads that are their favorite colors. Or, you might wanna keep it simple and use something like rope.....
Sorry that your husband died.... :(
