Come on I was going to go to the beach, watch the fireworks, get some glow sticks, get drunk with friends under a pier, then go on the spinning ride that sucks you against the side of the car (What is that ride called again?)! No fair!

I share your pain friend. It rained here though not too bad... but enough to dampen it. I was disappointed with the fireworks and after not being able to get some good shots with my two digicams, I called it a loss or what not. They started the fireworks earlier than said on the news this morning and so the sky was not fully dark and all. It rained last year too much more so... a real disappointer. Ah well... maybe the next'll be better. Hey... good luck!

Ummm... because god isn't an AMERICAN... ;););)

If the world was the perfect Paradise that some people THINK it should be - then it would NEVER rain. Unfortunately, pretty much ALL the food in the world need water to grow - unless the Almighty can somehow wave his magic wand and make all just suddenly appear out of thin air...

Sorry - got off on a bit of an anti-religious rant there ;);)

To bad we don't celebrate till the 5th of November.. kind of like when your last teen leaves home and you give it a few months to make sure they're really not coming back before you party!

well, whatever Gods reason why He made it rain on the 4th of july is not for us to question (smile), but my grandmother said that in her hometown, its a sign of blessing when it rained on ur bday, so i think it like a blessing too (like we will celebrate the independence day forever, unless ofcourse it rained so hard on that day that the entire town needs to evacuate kind of thing...lol)...well, we can look at the bright side of the situation...rain on the 4th of july is not the end of the world anyway...have a blessed day!

God decided your city needed rain. You may get drunk and hurt yourself or someone else. Maybe this was his way of preventing that. Don't underestimate Him.
