yes you would be right. after we defeated the Iraqi army the war should be over. but never in history has fighters armed from other countries have gone into a defeated nation and continued hostilities. do not think any one can prepare for that. sure everyone thought there would be wrap up operations but not the fighting we find now.

From the "Mission Accomplished" speech in 2003, I guess we are in a police action since major combat operations ended.
