Pretty noisy . I can here about 25 firecrackers going off right now . Oh and a mortar . Now we got some sizzlers . And more firecrackers . Now it sounds like a roman candle going off ............

Fireworks are allowed at some of the colleges and at the fair
grounds in our area. Otherwise, they're against the law and not sold in our community. People always buy them from the next town then bring them back here to set them off. In a little while, I'll start hearing very noisy fireworks and sirens! Our area is very dry. it makes me nervous.

Hey! About 25+ minutes ago the city I live in, with the park where the fireworks were going off is nearly next door basically, was real loud with the bangs ringing out. I did not stay as it was not good as they used to be, and also I could not take any real good shots with my cameras... and it was beginning to rain... again! There are some local folks shooting off some of their own fireworks right now... but thankfully not too loud. I'm disappointed with the fireworks. Wish to God I could've been in NYC for the festivities. Ah well... I'm stuck in my borning home area. Good night.

Well the rain cancelled all of the Beach front fireworks but the rain isn't stopping people from setting off their own. There is a BOOM and a car alarm going off every 10 minutes. I just got home too and I had to avoid hitting wandering groups of drunks in the streets. Wish I was one of them.

I don't live near the city but all around me it is very noisy tonight with people shooting off tons of fire crackers and such.

I ran out to the gas station and could see at least 10 different sites that fireworks are being set off from. It's not too bad. This time of year is bad when your neighbors think they're funny at 4am setting off the "black cat" fireworks .. no color .. lots of noise. Oh well ... it's that time again. Happy Birthday America :o)

In my town the fireworks started on the 1st. It's only 8pm right now where I am, but I am sure my 10 month old will be crying all night due to the noise.
