great movie, but took their lives out of context to make it a good movie

Yes, I think the movie stuck true to Johnny and June's lives. My son (14 months old) loves Johnny Cash and I had to hide this DVD in order to actually watch tv. I'd call him a fan. His favorite song is Jackson.

Excellent film. An interesting fact about it is that Johnny Cash actually worked with the cast (Joaquin Phoenix, specifically, who played Johnny in the biopic) and was consulted to critique the actor's performance.

Yes. I didn't like Reese Witherspoon as June. I don't think she fit the part too well.
BTW, I'm watching a Johnny Cash Special right now on CMT. He & June just finished singing "Darling Companion".

I thought it was one of the best movies I had ever seen. I am a fan of Johnny Cash also.

It was a great movie.Kind to him I think as it only merely touched on how off track he got at times with his vices but I guess they didnt want to mislead anyone into thinking he was a 100% cad and a jerk
Reese sang better than June carter did though. Excellent acting and good story.

Yeah, it's pretty good! The actors worked hard on the vocals, and did a really fantastic job. They put a little bit more of a modern twist on some of the music (mostly swapping instruments), and it was a nice touch.

Yes, and I really dislike how they ignored how important Christ and religion was to Johnny Cash.

Yes I liked the movie alot. It wasn't boring like the movie "Ray" was. "Walk the Line" had a great, non-confusing storyline and Joaquin Phoenix is really cute!

I have watched it. I thought it was well done. The characters played the parts perfectly, and I especially liked that the actors actually sang the songs.
