I'm a Realtor in Oregon and you cannot get a Real Estate license here if you have been convicted of a felony.

It depends on what it is. In every state they usually have a morality clause, called "moral torpitude". If your crime involved theft or something like that, you will probably not get a license. You have to disclose it when you apply and then they will review it. A felony isn't an automatic no, but it really depends on the details of your particular situation.

It will definatly stop you from getting a mortgage broker license in Ohio. So my guess is yes, but you should call your state agency and ask. Also, I am pretty sure it will keep you from being a Realtor, but again you can always ask someone there. They are usually happy to help with questions.

In the state of PA, with the way the law is written, you only have give notice of the details of your convictions. Nothing says that you can't have a license.

Yes it would but, I don't think you'd get a bond but, you can try. This is what happens, you pay for the fun you had when you were younger. Sorry.
