I see nothing wrong with your kids being gay. No one knows why some are gay and some are not. I knew a set of fraternal twins (one boy, one girl) and both were gay. Crazy isn't it? I just thought it was neat and scientifically and statistically amazing. I never thought that the parents did something to them. Go with it!

No. I believe that sexual orientation occurs in utero just as right- or left-handedness. For whatever reason, perhaps a blip in hormone secretion or something, instead of going with the regular scheme of things, a different result ocurred.
If a preference for same-sex bonding is due to a recessive genetic action, then it is easily understood how you could have two or more children who are gay. From what I remember from studying Mendels's rules of genetics, two dominant traits mating with two same dominant traits will always produce a dominant but one set of dominant and one set of recessive traits can produce one pure dominant or one mixed set or one set of totally recessive traits per person. So it would be easy to produce several children who are gay if one of he parents had the "correct" genetic makeup.
So I doubt if you did anything "wrong", it is more just the luck of the draw. Just like blue eyes or brown eyes.
Don't sweat the small stuff and love them forever.

I know of a family with 3 boys and the first two are gay, one moved out the other is 15 and the youngest called him a ****** so maybe he will be straight.
It just happens that way there is nothing anyone could have done about it and now you know you are not alone.

If I were in this scenario, I would say no, I didn't screw up, because my children felt secure and safe enough with me and my reactions to actually come and tell me what their sexual preferences were.
I don't see why it wouldn't be possible for more than one child to be gay; after all, it's been disproven that environment causes sexual preference. Totally possible it is genetic - that's just not been proven yet. But if other things lke career choice can prove to have genetic links, why not sexual preference?
Love your children, whatever they do and whatever they are - and realize there are much, much worst things they could be than homosexual.

I know some families with multiple gay kids (now adults). Its probably has something to do with what the parents have done, the environment, the genes, and who knows what else. There's no way to tell so redirect that energy into being happy your kids they are alive and well - enjoy them and love them, we're only here for a little while.

I'm gay and have 2 lesbian cousins in my family.
My friend is a twin, He's gay and his twin brother is bisexual.
My other friend is gay and his older brother is gay
So, It happens. Just because someone is gay that doesn't mean that you did something to make them not come out right.

smile. although I don't know you but from the way your writing, it show you must be somewhat a good parents.
sometimes life has karma, do you believe in reborn, watch the moive "what dream might become". or perhapsly studies Buddhism (http://www.buddhanet.net)
see from the Buddhism aspect, your both children grow up to be a gay is because 1) they have some karma, they were somewhat already brother or sibling in the last life or friends, so there fore they have silimiar backgroud this life (parents, family)
2) you have some kind of connection with them, it could be you were their friend or etc.
from scienficifically pt, it could be that your both children happened to generate that "extra" gene that you don't have or you carry it to them, but youdon't have it,. you know the xy things.
anyway, I rather take the Buddhism explaination. sometimes science doesn'talways make sense.

I have a friend who has 3 sisters and 1 brother....they are all gay! Before I met her, I never thought about it. I was floored when I first met her and she told me about her siblings. They are all fun and come from a great and caring family.
Trust me, you did nothing wrong, you were blessed with 2 beautiful children.

Just because parents have gay children does not mean they did something wrong when they are raising them. That goes for families with one or more gay children. The parents actions do not influence their child's sexuality.
