I've been a baseball fan for along time but I dont know a lot of stats like most strike outs in a game, best pitcher , most RBI's etc..so I am looking for a site that I can refer to and get some information for triva and to learn myself. I'd like to go back as far as possible. thanks

I'd agree with the first post - I think Baseball Reference offer the most you'll find anywhere, especially now that they have in-depth draft info on their site:

http://www.bb-ref.com

The site also now offers a Play Index feature - it costs about $30 a year, but it's well worth the money. You can create searches around games, events and seasons that allow you to find information you'd never be able to find elsewhere.
