which yankee player current will you miss when they retire and which yankee player do you want to still be playing who has retired
i would miss so much derek jeter not seeing him at ss and mariano rivera not seeing save any more games for the yankees and jorge posada not seeing him behind the plate
and i would of liked to bring back if i could bernie williams , and don mattlingly

I agree with your selections 100%, especially Jeter for his great leadership as well as performance, and Posada for his underrated, day-after-day toughness and committment to excellence.
Of course, for guys of my elderly generation, if they could clone Mickey Mantle it would be the fulfillment of our dreams.

I TOTALLY AGREE WITH YOU SEEING SOME ONE OTHER THAN JETER AT S.S. would be so weird because he has been there for so many great years.
and it owuld be so weird to not hear the sandman song and watch mariano trot his way to the mound ready to mow down some people.
I also coudlnt imagine having a man catch the yankees season other than posada it would just be soi weird to see these allstars
not so much bernie but i thni kit would be great to bring baack mattingly he was a great player and always played wonderful but the biggest person i wish we could bring back is cory lidle

Probably the most i would miss is Derek Jeter because he is a very talented player who is a good person overall and the player that i would want to come back from retirement would be (Hitman)Don Mattingly because he deserves a ring and probably the best first basemen the Yankees ever had

I can't even imagine what it is going to be like when Derek Jeter retires! I miss the guys from the 1998 World Series team....like Chuck Knoublauch (mostly for his errant throws), Tino, Scott Broscius, David Cone, Chili Davis, Bernie, Mike Stanton, and so on. I wish I could watch Clete Boyer play third base.

I agree. Im lucky to see Derek Jeter all the time living here in NY. People not from NY seem to think he's overrated but you def need to see him everyday. He does all the little things right. The greatest Yankee Captain!! If I can bring someone back , It would have to be Thurman Munson.

Posada will be hard to replace...his bat and glove. When they pitch around A-Rod he usually comes through even if he can't run worth a darn. His arm to second catches a lot of theives. And I too would bring back Bernie Williams...if only to DH...boy I miss his presence on the field, in the dugout, and up at bat!

I will definantally miss jeter and possada they are both a big contribution to the team right now and i wish that Joe Dimaggio would come back because he was a AWSOME baseball player!!!!

ahh mann i'd hate to see jeter go..him being a yankee all his life and the leadership he brings..they would fall apart without him
i'd also hate to see jorge and a-rod go...

i agree with you. jeters got MAYBE 10 years. but still not seeing him play ss would be awful!! i'd always remember him. he is amazing and prob. one of the best in MLB. aldo clemens wow is he awesome. i'll also miss a-rod. hes awesome!! this could be his last year with the yanks. :[ and i'll miss MOOSE and rivera amazing pitchers!! and i'd miss posada he is an amazing catcher and makes great plays. i'll miss everyone!! :[

derek jeter for sure! ENOUGH SAID! why are you asking so many questions? the yankees are done for the year!! and jeteer should quit or demand a trade out of the bronx zoo!
