But leave off the "master" and you'd see the type of message I'd leave for my husband, if I was married.

NO! It sounds like you really need to find some respect for your wife ... or women in general! As a husband your the head of the house but not the MASTER! Love your wife! Don't treat her as a slave, she is an equal! I would never leave a note saying master... I would leave a note about love or something. It really would make your life better to respect for your Wife!

No child wants to grow up and be slave and master in their marriage. They don't even make fairy tales like that. At least in the fairy tales authors had sense enough to know the girl ended up with the prince. Even the frog turns into a prince, not a tyrant...
Geez, at least read Cinderella. That's what we want, not some jerk riding up on his white horse and going, 'Get on or I'm gonna smack you."
...and then Cinderella karate chopped his @ss and lept onto the horse and took over the kingdom...and they all lived happily ever after...

Saying I love you is great! Master? Head of household and master have different meanings. I have never been sold to anybody and don't see it happening. I don't need a master, they really suck when they rule in a rotten way. I ran away from my master years ago.
