I think you mean "procrastinate" not "procastinate"....
that is ok because all of us leave out a letter at times...hugs anyway....
So to answer you question....here is an example....
if you walked up to me and asked me a question...." will you meet me tomorrow down at the store and we will shop for an hour and then go and have lunch?"

and I reply to you: " well I am not sure, I would like to go with you but but but.....maybe I have to wash my pet dog...and take my Mom to the store.....I really want to go.....I think I can get someone else to do these chores....I know....I'll let you know in about 5 minutes the answer if I can go or not.....maybe 10 minutes.....no maybe 20 minutes......"

See how the answer is not clear...In my answer I'm not making up my mind quickly I'm going in different directions....

I hope this example helps you understand the meaning of the word.....

The word is procrastinate. It means to put something off or delay it. Example: Johnny got a poor grade on his math test because he procrastinated too long before studying.

It is just a fancy word for putting something off! Like if your boss says throw these files away and you pro. then you may wait a few days or hours!

To leave to the last second. To put something off and finish until the end. To keep something on hold until you have little time left to finish.

To do things at the very last minute. Which is probably what most people do. You feel more pressured and motivated into doing it that way

It means to put off what you need or should be doing (like homework, chores, ect.) by doing trival things to take up your time (like watching tv, daydreaming, ect.).

I have the feeling, that's what you're doing now ;)

Keeping saying to oneself, "I can't be bothered" and "Ach, I'll do this later". Always putting off doing things, in other words.

It's actually PROCRASTINATE, and the word means to put off doing things that you should do and instead waste time.
