“The unmasking of covert CIA officer Valerie Plame Wilson by White House officials in 2003 caused significant damage to U.S. national security and its ability to counter nuclear proliferation abroad, RAW STORY has learned.

According to current and former intelligence officials, Plame Wilson, who worked on the clandestine side of the CIA in the Directorate of Operations as a non-official cover (NOC) officer, was part of an operation tracking distribution and acquisition of weapons of mass destruction technology to and from Iran.

Speaking under strict confidentiality, intelligence officials revealed heretofore unreported elements of Plame’s work. Their accounts suggest that Plame’s outing was more serious than has previously been reported and carries grave implications for U.S. national security and its ability to monitor Iran’s burgeoning nuclear program.”

I notice no one defending this action. It does seem odd that if the premise is true (which it isn't) that there is no logical explanation for the subsequent action. happy 4th, just remember what you are celebrating and hope more people like me will save your asses from republicans and their criminal actions.

I love it that on the national holiday I can still find liberals here hating America. It's reassuring in a weird kind of way.

Wilson was introducing Valerie at every party they attended as his "CIA wife". Valerie had a CIA parking sticker on her car, and her own personal parking space at CIA headquarters where she worked a desk job. The happy couple posed for the cover of Vanity Fair during the time she now claims she was under cover.
This whole issue is garbage invented by desperate leftists is an attempt to invent fictional charges they could use against Bush, Rove, and Cheney.
Patrick Fitzgerald will become the next Mike Nifong. Maybe they can even be cell mates. Real live jail house lawyers...

There was no error on behalf of Joe Wilson's reports on terrorist and uranium. His wife's cover was blown as retribution for not support an invasion into Iraq. Libby's sentence was commuted because Corporate America, has made billions on the war. He took one for the team. However; I'll be interested in finding out what happens when the Joe Wilson and wife sues Libby in court.

To send a message to ALL federal agencies and Iraq war opponents. The message was the Bush admin will tolerate NO dissent and will stop at nothing to punish and destroy those that do. The Republican ran, rubber stamp, congress offered zero oversight, which equates too full control of the US government by the Bush administration for six, consecutive years.

During Clinton's presidency congress launched over 1100 investigations into the White House. From 2000 through 2006 the Repub led congress launched a total of 3 into the Bush white house.

joe wilson was not in errorjoe wilson said, correctly, that iraq was not attempting to purchase weapons grade nuclear material and could not do anything with it ieven if he had. this is precisely the reason his wife was "outed" as retaliation for mr. wilsons defiant claim that iraq was indeed NOT involved in these purchases. this was central in the bush administrations attempt to convince the u.s. that war was necessary. mr bush is responsible for more than one half million iraqi deaths, the deaths and injuries of all the u.s. service people and the united states becoming for the first time in our countrys history the most hated and feared country on earth!!! pretty impressive record for this administration. nothing but a bunch of thieves, murderers and liars. good work mr president!!@

Wilson was not in error. He found that there were no terrorist groups seeking uranium from Africa. Unlike what George Bush said in his State of the Union address. As retribution for complpaining about Bush using false information, Mr. Wilson's wife was exposed as a CIA spy.
