I have tried everything to help with this problem. Nothing hurts except the actual intercouse and it is so painful I scream in pain. My husband says it feels no different to him than before the surgery but I can not even describe the pain I feel. This has ruined my whole life I don't know what to do. It does not come from dryness, that is not a problem. Could something have gone wrong during my surgery or what? Please help with this problem if you know anything about it. I feel I am the only person on earth that is like this.

I haven't hd a hysterecomy yet but I do have the pain with sexual intercourse. They call this vulvodynia. Do a good search on it. I have a support group if you need one,

It seems like you have pelvic floor dysfunction caused by the hysterectomy. I also have another support group for you. I am sure you will get the help you need.

you're probably not the only one on earth. i'm in pain everytime as well but i didn't have a hysterectomy. the only thing i can say is talk to your doctor. i just try to deal with it, my boyfriend knows how much it puts me in pain so we don't have sex every night, kinda puts a damper on things but i think talking to your doctor would probably be the best. now that i think of it, i think i'm going to do the same. it shouldn't be painful at all...unless its on purpose.

The only complication as far as sex goes with a hysterectomy that i know of is that they don't leave enough cervix and there's not enough "room". Like your cervix is too short--nowhere for his penis to go but to put pressure there.
But yes, I would ask your Gyno.

My humorousness comes from a mild, very pleased place. If i'm sarcastic or a smart azz, it skill my temper is undesirable and that my comments are coming from a depressing, painful place. supply me a decision and that i will take chuffed places any day of the week, sweetie. ? Have a stable holiday! ?

There are alot of people that have the same problem. Are you using lubrication? My sister was diagnosed with endometriosis recently when she went to her obgyn because of painful sex. You should see your doctor again because you might have something there that is making you sensitive.

I've herd of women going through that.I'm not quite there.....yet.But I've talked to women that have in conversations cause I'm around the corner.Seems to me if he loves you he would understand.I would talk to your doctor and find out why.Of course it doesn't feel different to him,he's getting off.Ask the doctor.

Have you done the obvious--sought out an opinion by an OB/GYN?
