why do guys worry about going bald?, i mean its not the end of the world. you would think, they would be more concerned about whats going on inside their bodies, then whats on top of their head. iam bald, but i cant help it, i got it from my relatives, but i work on the health of the inside of my body, then sit around worrying about hair. thanks.

The media. The media has made it so it seems that balding means you're old and ugly. Not true! It's a natural part of life that many men go through, and most girls honestly don't care about a guy's hair. The media really implies a lot of things that are te opinion of maybe one or two people, but not of the real poipulation, and once people see these opinions everywhere, they start to believe that they are true for everyone.

Stupid media...

To all balding men and women out there, bald is beautiful. :D

I guess they worry since they are wired to be visual creatures. Looks matter to most men. I however, as a woman have always found bald men very appealing. I have always been attracted. The balder the better. I hate the ones that grow it long on one side and do the comb over. The ones that shave it off completely really get my attention. Wouldn't you know it, I married the hairest man in the country. He teases me about praying he will go bald. You never know....

To be an honest male, that is the worst part about aging that I worry about. Hair can make all the difference as far as age goes. I've seen guys in their early 20's look like they are about 45 and guys in their 40's with a full head of hair and look like they are in their early 30's. I just started receding at 36 and hate it. I will do anything to keep my hair. Granted, some bald guys look hot, but not most. I think guys that shave their heads to cover it up, either look like military rejects or cancer patients if they are lucky, usually the first thought is they escaped from a mental ward. Body hair is the only masculane trait besides muscle mass that separates men from women other than the obvious.

I think for a lot of men it makes them feel older, even though a lot of bald men aren't. Sounds like you are on the right path and have a lot of self confidence! Bald men are supposedly more fertile and have more testosterone- Keeping yourself healthy is one of the best things you can do for yourself. Keep up the good work!

I hope i never go bald. I'm 35 and still OK. All I hope to do is go bald gracefully if i do. I hope never to go for the comb over or grow a pony tail and be bald on top.

wake up people it ain't fooling nobody

I don't know. These days, so many guys shave their heads and it looks extremely sexy. With hair, without hair, men who are nice and friendly go far. Don't worry about superficial stuff. Be smart, be nice, be healthy, don't act like a goon, and you will be fine!

probably the same reason women freak out at the first gray hair they see. nothing screams "not young anymore" like visual reminders of how we remember our Grandparents when we were kids.

Good for you to focus on what you can change!
