cronyism, pure and simple...libby was the fall guy for cheney...there was no activist jury...the prosecutor was a republican appointee, the judge (who said libby's guilt was clearly proven) was a republican appointee, and 2 of the 3 appeals court judges who ruled that libby could not remain out pending appeal were republican appointees

Get over it, Plame wasn't covert, there was no "outing", and Joe Wilson is a sleazy lying partisan hack.

I forgive Libby...But it makes no difference on his sentencing. Bush simply reduced his sentence a little...forgiveness was not an issue.

Bush did this to keep Libby silent. As long as Libby knows a full pardon is in the offing, he will keep his mouth shut.
