Yes it is. Let someone else get in trouble and see who they run to to bail them out. We support a great deal of the rest of the world militarily and financially. Show me one other country that will fight an others battles for them. Certainly there are others there to help but we almost always bear the brunt of the load.
Damn proud to be an American!!!!

You bet! God bless America, especially our america of old, where borders, english language ONLY and our own culture abound amongst this multicultural nonsense pushed into our faces by the left.
Also, we need to regain our classiness, kindness and serving our fellow american. But still with all of our problems(and every country has them,) we're still #1 in the world.
If socialized medicine and the economy in crappy countries like France and Canada are so great, then why are they flocking to our borders like a raging river? Becase they know their countries are terribly flawed and we still have the best of everything. If we will only fight for it as one united country, stop bickering over petty insolances and not take our privileged freedoms that so many died for, in order for us to enjoy them, then we will really discover the america our parents always spoke of in the good old days.
Let's take our country back from america haters and communists! USA, USA!!

Ummm, Happy Birthday USA, but I would love to live in the UK (at least for a little while).
I think that everyone values the nation they were born in.

I think it is, but the things that are happening now because of what this administration has done is pushing it into a corner which will take years for future administrations to get out of( be they REPS or DEMS).We ,like it or not ,are the "ugly Americans". We'll reap what we sow and the "FAT CATS" won't care as long as they can benefit from it !!! HAPPY B"DAY AMERICA !!!!!!...................P.S. I don't think this is the way the Founding Fathers wanted things to be in this great country of the USA !!!!!!!!!!!

You say you are an American, but you call the only candidate who wants to uphold the Constitution a kook. I believe deep down you are a good American, you are just an uninformed American. Look at Ron Paul's web site. You might find that he isn't a kook after all. http://www.ronpaul2008.com/about/

Most likely it is in the Top 10
But it has slipped behind is several categories.
That doesn't mean it can't regain say more prosperity than China or better health care than Cuba. It simply reflects a war time situation.

No I do not - but I believe it could be. And rather than bury my head in the sand and ignore our problems I am going to work hard to correct them and make this the best America it can be.

I'm sorry. I'm a military man (4 generations) and a tax paying voter, but I lean to the left so I've been told that I hate America. I'm not sure how that is, but somehow I am disqualified.
