I disagree with that part of his statement. There was no crime. The prosecutor was wrong & the jury was wrong.

The only thing Libby did wrong was not tell the truth. whether it was intentional or not I dont know.

But if it wasnt a big deal that Bill Clinton lied to a grand jury, why should it be any worse for Libby.

What we are saying is that Libby had nothing to do with Valerie Plame. He did confuse his facts from something that he did years before and for that he was charged and convicted. Which was wrong. If there hadn't been a witch hunt, he wouldn't have been drug in. Even you could be tripped up in front of a grand jury if didn't remember what you did at the office 3 years before. He did not knowingly and purposely lie.

If Bush admits the conviction is right, than Bush is not wrong., but I doubt Bush believes in what he said. He believes that his administration is above the law, but he couldn't find a way to wiggle out with out making his administration look bad.

Where's the link that has Bush saying that? You don't have the evidence, I don't believe it. And it's not just conservatives saying he committed no crime, The Washington Post and CBS News say it, too. How'd that happen? And I've got the links.
