Well, Bubba, the first step would have to be that they decided that they even wanted to end world wide poverty. Which they do not. That would be step number 1.. If they had wanted to 20 years ago, it would have been done by now. They cannot take the second step until the first step is taken. They do not want to end world wide poverty because their overwhelming want is to be rich and powerful. This is the truth in all political systems, especially in the USA. It is a human trait that is magnified to extremes by the way we run our very populated world today.

This society generates inequality. While-ever we live in a capitalist society, there will always be people dying of starvation, while others live in fantastic wealth. That's how the world works. Anybody who tries to change this society is killed. That's how this world works. World leaders will never do anything to change anything, no matter what they say.

Jesus said you can't. I believe it because I'm poor compared to most of my friends, but I like my life and would not want to change it for their rat race. The trick to being rich is wanting what you have. Freedom and simplicity are worth everything to me.
