Yes, it's true. Usually it's a good day off to pay respect to our Country's founding fathers, all who serve this nation. We are proud of it, and Thank God for everything we do have.
Families, friends, usually get together for dinner and then we go to see the fireworks at a stadium, or park. It is exciting even for me a grown-up!

Yes it is very true to most many americans. The 4th of July is a day where family members reunite and have a great bbq together, watch and set off fireworks. It's a day to have fun and enjoy each other's company.

I think it depends on the family. In the past my family (parents, aunts, uncles, cousins) used to get together for a big barbecue and party, but we don't anymore. I now hang out with friends. It's sort of a family/friends day. However a lot of people BBQ.

yes, i just got back from my cousin's house we had a nice barbecue (inside) it was pouring we were going to set off fireworks but it was raining.
