Oh for sure...! If they dont ...then thats a real shame. They blew it last yr though they had a first game bye..!..
There is a history that any team that had a best record and didnot make it to the super bowl that year will win the following year. Lets see
I hope this works for SD as well..
They have a pretty good team of players. And I'm not a big fan of marty, I think the team can perform even better without Marty.
They may not do 14 -2 record this year.. may be will get 10 or12 games.... but doesnot matter they got a good chance to win it all ...though
As a charges season tix holder can't wait till next month for the season to kick off..!
GO Bolts!

Of course the Chargers have a chance. They have the best player in the league on their team which automatically makes them a contender. When you add that defense and a nice supporting cast around LT, they will go deep in the playoffs this year.

I am going to go ahead and say no right now. They needed to make more of a splash over the offseason and try to get a big name on the defense to compliment Merriman, whom i believe is a steroid freak and a menace of the game. All things said, the guy makes plays but now teams are aware of him and will formulate gameplans around stopping him. Had he had another big name on defense, he would probably have an easier time making plays and his already unnatural stats would become better.
On offense they are pretty much set but i would have liked them to pick up someone experienced at WR to try and relieve Gates a bit but it doesnt matter to much at the moment.
They will make the playoffs if they can stay out of injury trouble but I doubt they will go far with the sort of behemoths the AFC has grown in New England and the Colts

They have the BEST shot at winning it all. The best RB, TE, OLB, 11 Pro Bowlers from last season returning. They do have a new coaching corp, but its the same team, same offense that the new HC put into effect in the first place.
So, yes, I believe with all their talent, they have the best shot.

When Marty left, so did their chances of making it to the Superbowl this year.
Spanos is an idiot for firing Marty. Marty guided them through a horrible year with the stadium situation in 2003. If they went 0-16 this year, I would lose no sleep.

yea they do I think LT is so motivated after last years crumble to the Pats. That he will break his record for rush TDS and possibly win a super bowl. so yes the do have a chance.

They do. LT is a beast running back. If he is shut down they have Rivers to pass to Gates. But the key to winning it all will be D.
