I would HATE to apply early decision and get rejected, but I would LOVE it if got accepted. I mean if your confident about everything you have done you should do it and if your not you shouldnt do it , right? Early decision is done in senior or junior year?

If you're confident that you have all the necessary skills and qualifications, it's okay to apply early. Applying late will not guarantee acceptance any more than applying early, and if you apply early, you might have an edge on everyone else. I think the senior year is early enough, however.

Do you have 1 college that you are absolutely sure about? People who apply during early decision normally apply to the school they are sure that they at least have a chance, the school that they really want to attend. Getting rejected is part of the application process. It can't be helped.
You do it during your senior year. For more information check out collegeboard.com. It even tells you the difference between Early decision and early action and more.

Go for it! Apply by the end of your junior year. Nothing's better than spending your senior year knowing where you'll be next fall!
