I am in a disagreement with my mother-in-law - she claims this toy was made of wood, but I am 100% positive this toy was made from plastic. Do you have a picture or can you find a picture of this old toy? Some background on the toy:

Very popular in the mid 1980's (Both my husband and I both owned and played with the toy as children) It is mainly white, with a blue mane, and yellow handles. The saddle opened up and was a storage compartment. You could sit down on the horse and it had little wheels to move around with.

Did you play with this toy as a child? Did you kids play with this toy? Do you remember it being plastic??? The BEST would be if someone could furnish me with a photo. I will give you 10 points if you can help me to prove my mother-in-law wrong. Thanks!!!!

I have tried doing simple google and yahoo searches for "Bucky the Wonder Horse" with no picture results of the toy - many people talk about the toy (on old toy websites/collectors web sites) however, no pictures thus far. Thats why I need your help finding a photo!! Thanks!!!

I don't know if you could tell from a photo, anyway.

A Web search on
bucky "wonder horse" plastic
shows that several other people also remember him as plastic. Maybe actually looking at the sites would show if they still have him!

bucky "wonder horse" wooden
doesn't turn up contrary evidence.

Well, VH1 has this show called "I love the 80's" and that might help you out, just try to see the next time that show airs on. But if you go to google.com and look under images and type in Bucky the Wonder Horse, you SHOULD get the results you are looking for. If google.com doesnt work, go to ask.com or answers.com and type in Bucky the wonder Horse. It may also help if you dont click on Images if that doesnt work(instead click on WEB)..

HOPE THAT SUITS YOU!!

Oh... um you could look it up on google. I guess.
First type in "Bucky the wonder horse" in images on Google... then click on the picture of it then it'll take you to a page with some information about it...
